Regina 520ZRE Z-Ring Chain

The chain carries all of the engine's power to the rear wheel. A worn one stretches, kinks and loses its lubrication, and you feel it as a snatchy, uneven drive on and off the throttle long before it lets go. Sealed-ring chains (O-ring, X-ring and similar) keep grease sealed inside every link, which is why they last far longer on the street than non-sealed chains.

• High-performance ZR chains with patented Z44 seal Z-ring sections
• Z-ring flexes when assembled, creating a spring effect that guarantees seal will not diminish over time
• Z-ring section also provides enhanced chain flexibility
• Features high alloy steel plates and pins, solid bushings and rollers and shot-peened plates, pins and rollers
• Pre-stretched to enhance performance
• Clip type and rivet type links included
• Chosen by pitch and link count, not by bike model
• Count the links on your current chain, or check your owner's manual for the stock length

Change the chain and both sprockets together. A new chain on worn sprockets wears out quickly, and so do new sprockets on an old chain. If you change your gearing, the link count may change too.

From the shop

We highly recommend a rivet-type master link on any street bike. Fitting one takes a chain riveting tool, which you can buy from us in the shop, or we can install your chain and sprockets for you.
