2025 WERA National Champion | From the production line to the paddock
Chris Durbin works full-time at Ford's Kentucky Truck Plant in Taylorsville, Kentucky, alongside his father. Outside of factory hours, he builds and races a professional Superbike program — proving that grit and hard work can compete with factory funding.
Chris started riding dirt bikes at five years old. After a years-long hiatus, he came back on a Suzuki Hayabusa before transitioning to BMW competition. Within five years of his first track experience, he earned the 2025 WERA Superbike and Superstock National Championship titles at the Grand National Finals.
Now competing in MotoAmerica Stock 1000, Chris is targeting top-10 placements in the 2026 Superbike Cup. Indy Superbikes is proud to support the #625 program.
"You don't want something breaking at 190 miles per hour. We don't cut safety, and we don't cut maintenance. We just work harder."
