Brake Pads

Sportbike pads from EBC, DP Brakes and Brembo, matched to your bike and riding style.

Checked bike by bike

Every pad is matched to your bike, year by year, front and rear, before it goes on the site.

One listing per pad shape

Pick the pad that fits, then choose the compound. Every compound of a shape fits the same bikes.

One set does one caliper

A bike with two front discs needs two front sets. Fronts and rears are separate pads.

Choosing a compound

Which pad for how you ride

Every compound of a pad shape fits the same bikes, so the choice comes down to how you ride. Here's where we'd start.

Street & touring

Commuting, touring and two-up riding, where long life and consistent stops matter most.

Sport riding

Fast road riding on a modern sportbike, where feel and bite matter most.

  • EBC Organic (FA) Precise feel at the lever and easy on discs; a favourite with sportbike riders.
  • DP Brakes Sport HH+ Sintered (SDP) DP's high-friction front pad for modern sportbikes on the street.
  • Brembo XTRA Sintered Racing (SR) Brembo's sintered pad for sport riding on the road and the track, stable at high temperatures.

Track days & racing

From the occasional track day on your road bike to a dedicated track bike.

X-Race and Brembo's RC are track-only pads. Don't fit either to a bike you ride on the street.

Heavy bikes & cruisers

Big, heavy streetbikes and cruisers.

Organic or sintered?

Every compound we stock is one of four kinds of friction material.

Organic
Aramid fibre. Light, precise feel at the lever and gentle on discs, with a medium lifetime.
Sintered
Metal particles fused under heat. The most stopping power and the longest life. HH and HH+ are friction ratings.
Semi-sintered
A blend of the two: the manners of an organic pad with the endurance of a sintered one. EBC's V-Pad is built for heavy bikes.
Carbon ceramic
Brembo's evolution of the organic pad, with more carbon: high mileage and good performance hot or cold, wet or dry. Brembo's racing RC pad is carbon ceramic too, and is for the track only.
