A chain and sprocket kit replaces the whole final drive at once: front sprocket, rear sprocket and chain. That is how these parts are meant to be replaced, because they wear together, and a kit takes the guesswork out of matching pitch, tooth counts and chain length.
Converts the Yamaha YZF-R1 (2009–2014) to 520 chain at stock gearing, 17 / 47
| Bike | Years | Kit gearing (front / rear) |

| Yamaha YZF-R1 | 2009–2014 | 17 / 47 |
Stock gearing for these bikes, in 520 pitch. Converting changes the chain, not the ratio, so the speedometer reads as it did.
Unless the listing says otherwise, a kit is built for stock gearing. Check the fitment list and tooth counts before ordering.
We highly recommend a rivet-type master link on any street bike. Fitting one takes a chain riveting tool, which you can buy from us in the shop, or we can install your chain and sprockets for you.
