Woodcraft Under Bodywork Frame Slider Base Kit with 1399 pucks — Ducati 848 / 1098 / 1198 (50-0642)

Under Bodywork Frame Slider Base Kit with 1399 pucks for the Ducati 848, Ducati 1098 and Ducati 1198, by Woodcraft Technologies.

Frame sliders are the cheapest crash insurance you can fit to a sportbike. Mounted to the frame at the widest point of the engine, they take the impact in a low-side and hold fairings, engine cases and radiator clear of the pavement — which is often the difference between a scuffed puck and a written-off bike.

• Fits: Ducati 848, Ducati 1098 and Ducati 1198
• Mounts to the frame, not the bodywork, so the load goes into structure
• Replaceable UHMW pucks — after a crash you replace the puck, not the kit
• Accepted by most track day organisations as crash protection
• CNC-machined in the USA by Woodcraft Technologies

Pucks are sold separately on many kits. Check the variant options below before ordering.
