Ceramic Engine Bearing Kit for the 2009-2014 Yamaha YZF-R1, by Woodcraft Technologies.
Ceramic wheel bearings run with less friction and far less heat than steel, and they do not corrode. On a race bike they free up a small but real amount of drivetrain drag; on any bike they last considerably longer between changes.
Wheel bearings must be pressed in squarely with the correct tooling. This is a job worth having done properly.
