Dunlop Q5A — All-conditions track and sport tire — the Q5 for riders who want versatility.
The Q5A takes the Q5's track-proven carcass and pairs it with a broader-range compound that works well across a wider temperature window. It doesn't need warmers to perform (though it benefits from them) and offers more street-friendliness than the standard Q5. It's the track tire for riders who might ride to the track.
The Dunlop Sportmax Q5A is the replacement for the Roadsport 2. The Q5A is a great all-around tire that is similar in balance to the Pirelli Rosso IV meaning that it has good street performance in a variety of conditions while also maintaining great longevity. The Q5A was introduced in 2025 and carries the DNA of Dunlop's proven Q5 and Q5S track tires. The Q5A is for riders who spend most of their time on the street but can certainly be used for beginner track riders. Upgrade to the Q5S for faster pace on track.
