RHS Clutch Cover Protector for the Yamaha MT-09 and Yamaha YZF-R9, by Woodcraft Technologies.

Engine cover protectors bolt over your stator, clutch and ignition covers and take the abrasion in a slide. A holed engine case dumps oil onto your own rear tyre and onto the racing line, which is why almost every track day organisation and race club requires case protection.

Fits: Yamaha MT-09 and Yamaha YZF-R9
UHMW or billet construction — absorbs abrasion without cracking the case
Bolts to existing cover fasteners on most applications
Required for most race licences and many track day groups
Available in: Gold Cerakote, Black Cerakote, Blue Cerakote, Green Cerakote, Red Cerakote, Natural, Stainless Steel
CNC-machined in the USA by Woodcraft Technologies

Case protection is usually required, not optional, if you intend to ride on track. Check your organisation’s tech rules for whether covers must be UHMW or may be billet.
